Cancellation

Cancellation of day tours

More than 24 hours notice, full refund
Less than 24 hours notice, no refund

Chancellation of multiday tours and group tours,

More than 14 days’ notice full refund.
Less than 14 days’ notice 50% refund.
Less than 48 hours’ notice no refund.
For groups 20% non-refundable deposits are required.

Custom made tours

For custom-made tours 20% non-refundable deposits are required.

Liability

We strongly recommend that our customers purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen events.
By attending our tours, participants are accepting a certain risk caused by acts of nature or negligence of others. Participation in a tour is undertaken on the responsibility of the participant.
Clients must be fit for the tour they are participating in. Icetrek offer trekking tours that might be difficult and require physical fitness up to some level.
Clients must be dressed according to weather and conditions.
Icetrek does not accept liability for changes in schedule due to force majeure incidents.
Icetrek reserve the right to altern the tour due to weather or situation that might affect some risk or safety of participants. That might occur due to whether, road conditions or other unforeseen incidents.
Icetrek is Icelandic entity. All travel agreements are governed the laws of Iceland.
